Some software’s will copy the contents in whatever format you want like MP4 etc, so that we can play it or use it for our purpose. Some software’s will copy and shrink the size of the contents, so that you can copy then to your iPod or other devices.

Direct Method of Copying DVD contents to hard drive:
If suppose, you want to copy your DVD contents to your C drive, then follow the below given steps:
Open the DVD-ROM drive in your computer and place the DVD in correct position, then close the drive.The computer will detect the DVD inserted.Go to “My Computer”, Click DVD drive which will come after you insert your DVD.Click on the DVD icon whose contents you need to copy to your hard drive.Do a “Control + A” from your key board to select all the contents of the DVD.Then right click on the selected items.There will be drop down that appears, click “Copy” in the drop down options.Go to “C” drive in your “My Computer” and right click on the blank space and click on “Paste” in the drop down appeared.
This will copy all the contents in your DVD to the C drive. If you want to paste the contents of the DVD into a folder in your hard drive, then follow the above steps till 7, then go to “My Computer”, right click and select “New Folder” and give a name (Any name) to that folder. Go into the folder and right click and select “Paste” from the drop down appeared.
